Chillin w/ the Tin Man |
This summer, I worked in the Eastern Shore of Virginia on staff with YouthWorks, a mission-trip organization. I planned and facilitated week-long missions trips for high school students from all over the country. It was a tough summer, but rewarding at the same time. Some highlights of my summer include memorizing all of the lyrics to Let it Go, spending $1,200 on groceries every single week, having my nails painted and getting a facial for the first time, catching crabs and eating them every Monday, and playing soccer with kids from the local trailer park every Tuesday. My plans for surviving winter include wearing 15 layers and reminding myself that spring will show up in a couple months. (Even though spring is basically a non-existent season in this state.)

I LOVE SPORTS. Badgers, Packers, Brewers, Bucks, Real Madrid are among my favorite teams. I'll watch any sport at any time of day. My ideal cable is just 100 channels of ESPN. Some of my other hobbies include reading and acting. More than those things, my faith is the central part of my life. I'm involved with Cru here on campus, a Christian organization.

Looking forward to a good semester!
That's that you want to become a pastor and serve after you graduate! I hope it all works out for you!
